A citizen of Bogalusa Louisiana has been charged a misdemeanor for brutally treating his dog.

A sweet heeler mix that was found with his mouth duct taped and chained by his owner! Not only did he have duct tape around his mouth but he also had a muzzle underneath all the tape that had been hand sewn to be tighter around his mouth. We got a call from the vet who had a call from a concerned worker.

Bogalusa Police and our Magnolia Humane Society volunteers  went out to investigate and found him like this (see picture) his mouth has been taped this way for at least the day possibly longer

He is on the skinny side.  This person also has other dogs. 

This petition requests that this criminal be charged something stronger than a misdemeanor and all of his animals taken away.  Additionally, this evil being should NEVER be allowed to have animals again and as part of his punishment should serve time cleaning out the Bogalusa Animal Shelter (with no contact with animals) for a year.
