What is happening is inconceivable: it is inhumane and it hurts the common people. Everyone please remember, RUSSIANS ARE NOT PUTIN.

I am not Russian nor Ukrainian, I have no love for either nations when it comes to their politics and their treatment of the human rights.

But the people have no fault... we support Ukrainians, provide help for them but we forget that there are millions of Russians suffering from what Putin is doing. They have no voice, they have no support, they have no certainty for tomorrow - they receive hatred from all sides. If they speak against the Government they risk 20 years in prison.

They try to leave Russia where they are victims, then they end up in the Czech Republic where a working permit is not possible for them anymore. My colleagues who are amazing people fear of what tomorrow may bring. They see hope in relocation only to be thrown to the ground: they feel guilty and undeserving and it is not their fault. 

Please treat Russians as victims of circumstances, let's help those that want to escape instead of proving to them that the West is against them. Let's not let history repeat itself; as we don't associate today Hitler with Germans, let's not associate Putin with Russians. Be human and embrace those that suffer, Russians and Ukrainians alike.
