In our world where technology is growing rapidly and people are easily influenced by the internet, various acts are made, may it be positive or negative. Technology and the internet has been a huge help to us through-out these years but the undeniable fact is that along with the rapid growth of the technology, the number of cases of cyber-crime is also rapidly growing.

Cyber crime is criminal activity that either targets or uses a computer network. IT ACT 2000 is the primary law in India dealing with cyber crime. It has been a crucial problem to society and it should not be taken lightly. Anyone could be a victim to cyber crime especially teenagers. Our goal is to help terminate cases of cyber crime.

The purpose of the petition is to raise awareness of how crucial cyber crime is in our present society. Not only do we want to raise an awareness, but we also want to make a change and somehow stop further cases of cyber crimes. The sponsor’s time will not be wasted by this concept paper for it will be beneficial to everyone especially to teenagers nowadays.

Cyber crime can cause those with fragile support systems to harm themselves and it is not ACCEPTABLE!  What is it going to take to stop Cyber crime?  Are we going to have to wait until someone commits suicide for this to happen?  What is it going to take to have the Cyber Crime Bill dealt with as a matter of urgency?  This has to stop NOW!
