If a strike vote is the only thing The Guild can offer than you should vote to strike .

However, please educate yourself on an economic strike and reinstatement rights!

It does not have the same outcome as what your technicians went through in an Unfair Labor Practice strike .

Not only is there no strike fund, but the consequences and reinstatement rights of your employment are different. Unless John Lee, your president, is going to use his nearly quarter of a million dollar yearly pay to support you and fly down to your picket line?

I appreciate whoever asked why the Guild didn’t strike with the technicians.

But John Lee ignored the fact that he denied his members that option when the offer was given by UFCW and he arbitrarily decided for you.

Thank you John Lee for being respectful to the UFCW pharmacists in your call vs your email, who have now set the standard he is trying to match.

Please vote to strike and make educated decisions in your actions. Hopefully John Lee will educate you as well going forward since he has put in this situation.
