The only thing the Guild President John Jue Lee really got on this contract was a 13% increase over 4yrs. That’s ~3% increase per year. President John Jue Lee will tout this as a win, but is it really?
For those wondering, the other “smaller”union got a minimum increase to $78.15!!!
$78.15 minimum with a ~2.75% yearly increase!!!”
You should take this ‘No vote’ as a no vote of confidence and that every CVS member from here on out is only a core member exercising their Beck Rights.
Subpar contract should not be his goal to maintain his pay, nearly $250K yearly pay from here on out. Is he looking out for the members best interest?
If the guild couldn’t get at least what a smaller union got, why shouldn’t the guild join the smaller union?
President John Jue Lee best and final offer shows that he lacks the power and leadership to put the CVS bargain unit on equal grounds with the rest of the Guild.
We are just as valuable as his Kaiser counterparts and coworkers.
Our families are just as important and need better pay and health insurance and his proposal does not even take a baby step towards that.
