The officers responsible for this horrible murder must be indicted and forced to defend their actions in a court of law. They obviously had other options including using their bull horn to avoid this tragedy. Giving police the authority to carry out unwarranted and unnecessary summary executions of civilians is incompatible with democracy. it's the hallmark of a police state. If children with toys can be arbitrarily gunned down, what about adults with grill lighters or weed guns? The message must be made clear to all police officers that if they use deadly force when other options are available ,they will be charged and forced to defend their actions in court. Otherwise this will never end and it will destroy everyone's rights to live without fear of death at the hands of some misguided officer.
