One of my favorite stories growing up was Cujo. In the story, Joe had the dog since he was a tiny little puppy and by the time Joe's best friend turned on him, Joe had known Cujo for roughly 5 long, loving years. Cujo was a good boy from a good family who just made a mistake.

I wish I could say that I can't imagine what Joe feels like to have someone he cared for corner him inside a house and turn on him in such a violent way. I've lived such an experience too many times with grown men. That was my dating experience until I met my current, loving husband.

What would you do if you were alone in a room with someone you trusted, who is physically more powerful than you, and when you do not have modern "equalizers" or the desire to also become violent even if the "equalizers" are available?

I've spent too much of my adult life mastering the art of escaping terror quickly, strategizing escapes for my personal survival and without also becoming what I fear.

Most people would likely say to Joe, "Well, why were you alone in the house with your family dog?"

Oh, no... they only really say that to Survivors as if everyone is dying to be one.

Being in a room alone with a hostile bench and a hostile defense was not too bad actually. My fear was gut wrenching but not life threatening.

Would Judge Antonio S. Nicholson keep allowing Defense Attorney Ziad Tayeh to obstruct discovery?

Would Judge Antonio S. Nicholson ever truly listen to me because testimony is evidence and the defense has not disproven anything I've said?

Would Judge Antonio S. Nicholson ever fact check Attorney Ziad Tayeh's blatant falsehoods?

Would Judge Antonio S. Nicholson really kill my case even before looking at my heaps of evidence because Attorney Ziad Tayeh is goading him and he needs better case metrics?

It's quite a better thought process than, for instance...

If I keep saying no then will he get even more frustrated and hit me?

Can I even dump him safely? Will he rejection-kill me because he wants me so much that he's constantly begging and ignoring my "No"?

I think of Steve Irwin who died doing what he loved with animals that he loved. They were dangerous and he knew it more than most but he kept going back. That's what dating always felt like but I kept trying.

On August 3, in Courtroom 17-C, I was not very powerful. Same as always. I'm just a little lady.

But, I'm going to prove that I was the smartest animal there. I have an equalizer that won't make me what I fear...my mind.

I Survived Courtroom 17-C. I'm proud of that. I was longing to have that hearing.  The global stay is painstakingly long and I just wanted my turn. I was so excited to open up discovery again. In the end, I didn't want to be there at all. But, I couldn't even attempt to walk out without the risk of paying a hefty price. I built the record because I knew there was one. Thank God. Someone was recording and I would have proof to deter all possible disbelief.

We typically put down (or plea deal and catch and release from incarceration) animals who we can't control and who don't respect us after the FIRST sign of a grave problem.

We can get rid of judges just like that, too. Your vote is a vote to disqualify.

I Survived Courtroom 17-C and I do not want you to ever have to.

Who am I?

Absolutely No One of Many.

Please stand with me.

Note:

Now, every single abuser of their power hates having been alone in a room with me.
