“FRESH FOOD FRIDAYS” 

Providing Children Opportunities to Taste and Learn About
Food Grown On Local Farms And In The Cutchogue School Garden

Over the past few weeks, several parents who are interested in starting a “Healthy Food for the School Initiative,” have harvested fresh vegetables from the school’s garden and made them available for teachers to share and taste with their students.   

On Fridays, volunteer parents would like to provide FRESHLY PICKED ORGANICALLY GROWN FOOD samples for kids to taste and enjoy at anytime during the day in their classroom.

The intention is to provide additional opportunities for healthy food eating awareness and education.   

**WE NEED TO ILLUSTRATE SIGNIFICANT PARENT SUPPORT TO OBTAIN SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION APPROVAL TO CONTINUE AND EVOLVE THIS INITIATIVE.
