Cut the weeds in the River Cam and on the river bank
The Issue
We, the users of the River Cam, pay a substantial amount of money every year to the Conservators of the River Cam. In return we would like the Conservators to do their job and cut the weeds that grow in the river and also cut the brambles etc that are growing between the river and the towpath. We pay far more to register boats than others elsewhere in Cambridgeshire (EA registration), yet the condition of the river (see video below) and the bank along the towing path is dreadful.

If action isn't taken now, the condition of the river and its banks will be far worse next summer, with the river unnavigable and the towpath unsafe.
