All of SUNY Fredonia has been impacted by the program cuts. We've lost numerous professors to these cuts. They are left without jobs while President Stephen H. Kolison Jr.and Provost Dr. Judith Horowitz make six figures every year. As can be seen in the Observertoday article titled "SUNY faculty, leaders trade barbs..." The President, Provost, Vice Presidents, Deans and others received $124,071 in raises. SUNY Fredonia is in a deficit and cutting professors and programs, we can see that some of that money that is saved from that is going to the Presidents and Provosts salaries. It's not fair for the President and Provost to be receiving raises while completely cutting off income for many of the professors. The goal of this change.org petition is to get the SUNY Administrators to lower the Presidents and Provosts Salaries down to five figures. They must do their part to help fix the deficit SUNY Fredonia currently faces. They are more than fine with leaving professors without any jobs so they must be fine with at the very least taking a pay cut. It's wrong of them to push all of the consequences of the deficit onto the professors and students when they are the reason we are in it. They neglected their jobs to prevent deficit and now instead of coming up with real solutions they choose to make professors and students pay for their mistakes. Please sign this petition so SUNY Fredonia can work on getting out of its deficit while also holding President Stephen H. Kolison Jr. and Provost Dr. Judith Horowitz accountable.
