Ensure Argos provide adequate explanation and compensation for online shopping misery
The Issue
Hundreds of customers have been left waiting for days, and, in some cases, weeks for Argos to deliver. Money has been taken out of our accounts, deliveries have been promised, but nothing has arrived. Precious time is being wasted taking days off work to wait for deliveries which don't arrive. The online Customer Services departments are taking up to a week to reply to complaints and are offering no explanations other than "failed deliveries" and "busy stores". Many customers have reported being on hold for hours, only to have their calls cut off.
#JustCantWait is their slogan this Christmas. It seems, however, that they are unable to realise this dream, making many hundreds of customers wait for days.
We ask Argos to offer a full explanation to the hundreds of customers affected by these recent issues, and to offer compensation where necessary to the many people whose precious time has been lost waiting in for deliveries and hanging on the phone.
