Different communities, Carrigaline, Douglas, Ballincollig, are constantly affected by the poor service of the 220 route. People are standing in the cold and rain for hours waiting for buses that never show up. Children, elderly people, some may not have the option to hail a taxi and wait without any idea of when they may decide to show up. Buses that go to Carrigaline and don’t return while people wait at the stops. Buses that are not half full and don’t stop. Drivers that ask customers to “get into the following one that is just 2 minutes behind” in Carrigaline so they can avoid town and just get on the link. And people are left waiting for hours for that bus that was just “2 minutes behind”. This has to be addressed immediately.
