As an animal lover, I am writing this note for all you people who can make a difference.

Animals (esp. stray dogs) easily find their way to the garbage accumulation area near the cafes. And to the accommodation department and Curtin Management, that poses a "huge threat" to them. Furthermore, none of the students actually have a problem with them since they are not violent or even barking.

The animal removal unit has always been called and many dogs have been shot (tranquilizer) right before our eyes. Then, they are brought over to the animal shelter where they will remain there for 14 days till someone collects them. And most probably, they would not be taken by anyone since they are strays, and then they will be sent to the animal killing farm.

I think this world belongs to both animals and humans. In fact, they are the real owners of the habitat. 

I hope you guys can join hands with us to put a stop to this. In many instances, when we have extra food, we tend to give the dogs the leftover since they are also hungry, just like me and you. It is so embarrassing to see this act done by a well known university. Please stop this injustice, help us help the animals who are just hungry.
