I-ready is a HUGE waste of time. First of all, their lesson system SUCKS. It gives you lessons based off of a long, hard, timed test. My Path Lessons should be given by teachers depending on what you're learning and what grade you're in. You often get lessons that either have nothing to do with what you're learning, or completely new lessons. And if you fail, too bad. You have to do that whole, way too time consuming, two part lesson ALL OVER AGAIN if you get 65% or lower. The lessons are super long and energy draining. Second of all, the diagnostics suck. The ELA one is just straight up torture. The diagnostics just throw random questions at you and you just have to get as many as you can right with no information or help at all. And just to make I-ready better, they removed the short little game in the brain breaks with a stupid video of a guy breathing. It's just disgusting. It adds more stress onto students, piling on more work. I-Ready is a big scam. It has NO benefits and has a 1.11 star rating. It leaves students with less free time and it's torture to have to do three a month, some kids have to do 2 a week, some have to do 5 a week. It's absolutely useless and it's so bad I've seen some kids call I-ready TORTURE. Why is this description so long? Because everything about I-ready is wrong, and stupid, and a big, fat, scam. And I don't want anyone to have to do this. We've been pushed around by schools horrible decisions for too long.
