The penalties that Paul Gonzalez, aka the Dine and Dash Dater, is facing are ridiculous. There are pedophiles and rapists that get sentenced to less time than this man is looking at.  What he did is maybe morally questionable at best, so to brand him a criminal that could be imprisoned until he is close to 60 is a travesty of the justice system.  How many of his "so-called" victims went on these dates expecting that Paul was going to pay? To some, this is actually somewhat of a funny story, akin to the thousands of Youtube pranks that are done every day for empty fame.  This is just a next level prank. This is a waste of the justice systems time and resources--not to mention taxpayer dollars.  I am also going to start a gofundme to raise the approximately $1000 in question.
