STOP HIGH-DENSITY DEVELOPMENT DESTROYING OUR SUBURB

Local community fight against a 300 unit block development comprising of 7 residential flat buildings above 3 levels of basement parking planned for Pemulwuy without consulting us. 

• No additional infrastructure for surrounding roads to cope with more traffic and parking for extra cars.
• NO Opportunities for extra shops, restaurants, medical practices etc. 
• NO Additional amenities like schools and community facilities.
• NO Feasibility studies to make sure the areas can cope with new density targets.

The streets of Pemulwuy and Greystanes were designed for R20 and R40 and this development does not seem to fit.

Our petition is calling for the NSW's Minister for Planning and Public Spaces Rob Stokes to stop the approval of DA 2016SYW249 - Lots 12 & 13 Butu Wargun Drive, Pemulwuy.

• Placing an immediate moratorium on the DA 2016SYW249
• Demanding a new, fair and transparent Local Housing Strategy (LHS) is developed via proper community consultation.
