Cultural Competency for All of Oregon (SB97)
The Issue
Oregon Senate Bill 97 has a vote in the Oregon House on May 19th at 11:00 AM. We are urging bipartisan support for SB 97 that will start a conversation on Cultural Competency continuing education for Oregon's health professionals. SB 97 has brought together 50+ community based organizations and health industry stakeholders, and passed the Oregon Senate on a bipartisan 22-7 vote.
