I am a resident of Spokane, and like many of us, am burdened with an ordinary, uninspiring accent. Our speaking style is so bland, devoid of distinguished characteristics; equated to a color, it would be beige. When it comes to spice levels, our accent would be labelled 'none'. Have you ever wondered if doing a fun accent could benefit us? 

Research from CEUfast, as indicated by data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, ranked Spokane as being 6th in the nation for having the highest number of residents who suffer from depression. It is my conviction that the distinctive absence of a unique accent among our populace contributes to this statistic. We lack the spice, the flair, the expressiveness in our speech that could bring color, rhythm and a deeper sense of personality to our lives.

It is time we shift from the monotonous way we communicate. Implementing changes in the way we articulate our words can bring a renewed sense of identity, potential vibrancy, and overall improve our mental well-being.
