Stop ATT from building a monstrous cell tower in the Kent Hills!

Stop ATT from building a monstrous cell tower in the Kent Hills!
The Issue
- ATT is proposing to build a nearly 200 foot tall cell tower on the ridge line above Treasure Hill, or on Bald Hill close by. The land elevation is over 1000 feet, meaning the top of this tower will be the same elevation as the top of the Empire State Building.
- The proposed site will mean this environmental blight would be visible from all of Lake Waramaug, Kent Hollow, Ore Hill valley and parts of Washington. The views from every surrounding Land Trust's hike of any elevation would be ruined by this tower.
- We advocate relocating this proposed cell tower from the scenic ridge line where it will be seen from all surrounding towns, to a less visible, more appropriate site.
- ATT must consult with the stakeholders before choosing a site and consider other solutions, such as multiple smaller towers.
- ATT plans to start building this tower in 2020. We need to act NOW.
