Apple IBM, Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Capital One, the World Wide Web Consortium, Amazon, and many other companies have either pulled participants from the annual CSUN Conference taking place next week, or cancelled their entire participation, due to the Corona Virus. While CSUN organizers still intend to host their annual event, the quality of this conference has been severely degraded, and it would be bad faith for the organization to continue business as usual. Many unsuspecting participants will be traveling from thousands of miles away, spending exorbitant amounts of money, for an expected quality of educational presentations, networking and exposure. Due to the lack of participation of so many scheduled presenters, and exhibitors, it is with complete confidence that I can say this event no longer justifies its cost, and it should be canceled. Due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control CSUN 2020 is no longer able to deliver on its intent, and purpose.

furthermore there is a heightened risk of fatality from the Corona Virus for individuals with health vulnerabilities. This is a conference attended by thousands of individuals with disabilities that have vulnerable health conditions. This event poses a significant health risk. 

As such all attendees and exhibitors should receive a full refund for their registration costs.
