The current mascot of California State University Northridge is the Matador, a mascot which, while they represent the good ideals of honor, fortitude, and integrity, are connected to a vicious and cruel sport that involves killing and maiming innocent animals. Because of this connection, many people are concerned and offended by the mascot. And so, this petition has been created to bring attention to the problem, with hope that someone in the CSUN administration will take notice and try to take action.

The Northridge Fault

The Northridge Fire Ants

The Northridge Hazards

The Northridge Quakes

The Northridge Suns

The Northridge Coyotes.
