Students and faculty spoke passionately at the Faculty Senate and persuaded the majority of CSUN faculty senators to vote NOT to implement revised EO 1100 & EO 1110. However, a procedural move by a few froze the vote for reconsideration in the next October 26th meeting. We will work to educate others on campus about these bad policies. There will be a week of actions leading to the next Faculty Senate Meeting. Then, we will have an email, letter and phone call campaign to the Chancellor's Office and will show up at the Board of Trustee meeting in November! Folks interested in helping out, show up to our weekly meeting on Tuesdays at 6 to 8 pm in MZ 240. Please note that Sonoma campus has also resisted with their faculty senate resolution. In solidarity!
