Animal Cruelty/Animal Abuse 

I am making this topic about animal abuse because I see many animals on the streets, and they are not able to walk properly because many people throw them like garbage. I feel that this is wrong because they are not given a chance to live the life they were meant to, and they are not looking good for you so you want them to throw away. You should not just throw them away without any care, and people who do that have no heart. I see this happening everyday when I walk to go to school. Sometimes I see animals being tortured on social media to get tested for products. I believe that animals should be treated the same as humans, and that they should never be tortured. Never believe that animal suffer less than humans, because pain is the same for them that it is for us, even worse they cannot help themselves and It shall be unawful for any person to torture any animal.

Animal abuse refers to any act of cruelty or neglect inflicted upon an animal. This can include physical abuse, such as beating, kicking, or causing physical harm to an animal, as well as psychological abuse, such as neglecting an animal's basic needs or denying them socialization and proper care. In addition Animal abuse can also involve using animals for harmful/illegal purposes using animals for testing harmful products. Animal abuse is a serious problem that affects both domestic and wild animals. It can have long-term physical and psychological effects on the animals, and it is often an indicator of other forms of violence and abuse. Many countries have laws in place to protect animals from abuse, but it's still a widespread issue that requires ongoing attention and efforts to address. Report animal abuse when you see it and If you suspect that an animal is being abused, it is important to report it to the appropriate authorities. We can avoid this thing first of all Educate ourselves about animal abuse and its impacts and understanding the issue is an important first step in taking action to address it., Strengthening and enforcing existing animal protection laws, Increasing public awareness and education, Providing support and resources to law enforcement and animal protection organizations, Working with community organizations and leaders we can help to build support for animal protection efforts and mobilize communities to take action against animal abuse, Advocating for stronger animal protection laws and policies. Supporting and empowering individuals and communities affected by animal abuse. Lastly is Instead of buying animals from pet stores or breeders, consider adopting them from shelters or rescue organizations. Doing so helps support organizations that work to prevent animal abuse and reduce the demand for puppy mills and other sources of abused animals and be a responsible pet owner, this includes providing your pets with proper care, including adequate food, water, shelter, and medical attention, as well as training and socialization.

There are many laws that can protect animals from abuse, but the specific laws will vary depending on the country . These laws may be enforced by local law enforcement agencies or by specialized animal protection organizations. In our country which is Philippines we have a laws to protect animals/Animal Abuse:

• The Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) is a volunteer-based, non-government organization whose goal is to prevent animal cruelty through education, animal sheltering and advocacy.
• Act No. 9147 of 2001, the Wildlife Resources Conservation and Protection Act, makes provisions to protect endangered species of wild animals and regulate the collection and trade of wildlife.
