The outdated laws need to change around sex crimes, thousands of people don’t bother coming forward and when/if they do, they wish they hadn’t bothered, so many people are getting away with sex crimes not just in the uk but all over the world., the victims are left with the shame and guilt and it should be the attacker who should have the shame, and pay properly for their crimes, I took my case to court and the laws and judicial  system is so one sided, the side of the perpetrators. My barrister not being allowed to know my rapists defence until the trial begins, gave my rapist a massive advantage, if we were allowed to know his defence like he knows mine then we could have prepared properly, he would have got a guilty,  not 2 trials and 2 hung jury’s. We could have prepared better and justice would have been done.  Sex crime laws NEED to change to be fairer
