People all over the country have been deeply saddened by the tragic deaths of what is so far believed to be 60 dogs in a fire at Manchester Dog's Home last night, Thursday 11th September 2014. 

This cruel and callous act of arson was committed by a 15 year old who has been arrested. My concern and the concern of many people I have spoken to, is that now this juvenile will be "let off lightly" - NOT named and shamed, NOT given a prison sentence, and be granted leniency based on their age or background. 

We believe that intent to endanger life means any and ALL life. A conviction of Arson with Intent would likely ensure that this person receives a sentence appropriate to the gravity of the terrible crime they have committed. Hopefully we do not need to petition for true justice to be carried out, but maybe we should make our views heard to be sure!
