Lloyd McMurtary should recive a prison sentence after causing the death of a 17 year old
Why this petition matters

Lloyd McMurtary caused the death of a 17 year boy while driving without a licence.
Lloyd hit the 17 year old boy in his car, and fled the area without stopping. The 17 year old, who was on his bike, died at the road side. Lloyd was later pulled over by the police who inquired about the dent in his car. He lied to the police and told them he had hit a deer.
Once he was arrested he admitted hitting the boy and driving without a licence and no insurance.
In court the judge sentenced him to a suspended sentence, 1 year driving ban and 200 hours unpaid work. In his defence the judge made comment to his clean criminal record.
This is a shocking out come not only to the police who put in the hard and upsetting work to catch Lloyd, but to the boys family and friends ds who have lost their loved one with no apparent justice being served.
This is a petition to the Crown Prosecution Service to intevine and look at this sentence again, and offer the family and public of the UK justice by ensuring Lloyd is given a prison term for the crime of killing a person and trying to avoid justice while driving without a licence
