Old Airport Road has no crosswalks between Borden Drive and Highway 3, meaning people walking or biking must cross three busy lanes of traffic with no safety infrastructure. It’s dangerous, inefficient, and deeply unpleasant.

By installing a lighted, button-controlled crosswalk immediately south of the Diamond Field Industrial Plaza, we can give residents - including kids - the ability to get to their destinations safely and independently!

Why It Matters:

Increased safety for residents walking or biking to 349 Old Airport Road and nearby businesses.

Better access for employees and customers of local businesses with less traffic congestion.

More independence for young Bella Dance Academy students (and less driving for parents!)
