1,200 signatures and climbing!
Thanks to your help we have the momentum to push for change. If you want to know why this is so important attached is a video filmed by an activist last year during our protest. In it you can see the stress and suffering these elephants are enduring as they remained chained to the ground. Its absolutely heartbreaking and why we are determined not to let it continue.
As promised, In the last two days I have been hard at work contacting local candidates for office to ask for their help, as well as getting the contacts we need to make this change happen, but to do it I need to ask for your help.
Monday morning the Mayor of Crestview and members of the Board will be checking email and seeing whats on the agenda for the day. What they will find is hundreds of emails and voice messages (our emails and voice messages) requesting they “Say No!” to Loomis Bros and instead opt for a non-animal entertainment venue.
Thats all it will take for the City to change its mind and cut ties with Loomis Bros forever ... and all it takes is for you and I to spend 1 Min! to send this email and bring Loomis Bros one step (maybe even the last step) closer to shutting down. 1 Min to make a huge impact!! (Dont forget get to change “your name” below...put whatever you feel comfortable with) and again thank you for being brave and taking action!

Mayor Cadle and CHPB members,
I, and over a 1000 neighbors and friends, are contacting you to ask that Loomis Bros Circus is not invited back to Crestview this year. Loomis Bros.’ animal acts are provided by Franzen Bros. Circus, which has a well-documented history of cruelty (See Petition Below). Brian Franzen was convicted of animal cruelty and faced federal enforcement action for repeatedly striking an elephant in the face with a bullhook. This is not the kind of “entertainment” Crestview wants nor should allow for our children or anyone. Elephants were even documented anxiously swaying back and forth in chains, a display of severe stress, all the while activists were verbally harassed and threatened by workers of Loomis Bros, going so far to write down their license plates as a form of intimidation.
FWB recently made a similar change, instead inviting a circus based solely on human preformance, Cirque Italia to Santa Rosa Mall, that received much acclaim. That is the kind of change we would like to see Crestview make, an easy change that starts with saying “No!” to Loomis Bros and cruelty.
Thank you for you consideration and understanding.
Signed,
“Your Name”
