Your Hunts Grove councillors are still processing the developments from our meeting with Crest Nicholson yesterday hosted by our MP Siobhan Baillie. 

On the plus side, Crest did participate this time and have not ruled out abolishing the Management Company. Unfortunately their approach and comments were not particularly constructive and we’re actually insulting and condescending to the Parish Council. 

Crest are not convinced that the Parish Council has the competencies or funding to replace the management company, even though thousands of parish councils across the U.K. maintain their villages as normal everyday business. 

For a developer to question and assess a local council as fit or not to adopt local parks and amenities would be a first! This is highly extraordinary, insulting and not their responsibility!
