Hi All,

Thought I'd update you as to my latest meeting! I spent nearly 2 hours with the lovely Rosie Duffield MP last Friday along with the amazing Hannah Uglow who is a criminal lawyer and lecturer at Kent Law School. These guys are completely amazing and are working with me to write a report for parliament on the failings of current legislation for offences initiated across our social media platforms (including dating platforms). The students there are getting the chance to reform and shape legislation rather than just work and learn about the current system which we know has not kept up with the times. 

Another law school Queen Mary's University of Law, have helped shape legislation already (with regard to Revenge Porn) and now it's our turn. This law school is also partnering with Kent Law school and the students (under the guidance of their mentors) are undertaking research in preparation for producing the report. 

Our next MP meeting will be in the New Year where we hope to get together with other campaigners and MP's that are all working in this area of online abuse.
