4 weeks ago I was contacted by 2 members of the Fraud Prevention Team of the Met Police who wanted to discuss my experience and proposals to change legislation. I have met with them and they could only agree that changes need to be made, hopefully at a verification for sign up point on the dating websites and at the other end legally for those that get caught should this not be in place. A retired detective from the sex offences unit has also contacted me to propose where amendments need to made. Amazing to speak to these people. I have also got the backing of my local MP Sir Julian Brazier who is happy to help in any way he can.
