Keiko, the star of the movie Free Willy, is shown in the image above. He got to live out in the wild in dignity and freedom. Did you know that Keiko swam out on his own for 60 days, travelled for 1,500 kilometres and was found to have fed himself? He is the shining star of proof that these animals can go back into their wild waters!

Sea sanctuaries are the future for captive cetaceans and to help injured/stranded marine life that need to be rescued and rehabbed. A place where biodiversity can thrive and a large protected part of the sea. And, ethical research and education can be taken place by specialists watching these animals.

Another great idea, there could be a live camera at the sanctuary so anyone online can watch these animals and learn about them without having to go to a place and take part in their exploitation. The live videos would be great for everyone, especially educating children that animals should only be wild, free and protected.

Also, happy Dolphin Month! To help the dolphins and other animals, tell everyone you know NOT to support cruel animal captivity and animals who are used for human entertainment. Always be careful where you visit as there are too many places exploiting animals all over the world. Lessen your plastic intake and help to clean up litter.
