Just a real quick update to let you know that both our State and Federal MPs are supportive of the petition in-principle.  Both have some suggestions about where funding can be sourced.

BUT - it will be on Central Coast Council to apply for funding, which is where we are currently stuck.  Council's Director of Infrastructure has written back, basically saying we don't need any more pathways as we have "extensive networks" of footpaths already. Um, sorry, no we don't!

I've updated the petition.  Expanded it to include a request for a footpath on Waterloo Avenue, heading towards Trafalgar Avenue.  This would provide families who use this gate, particualry those who do Before and After School Care with pathway to walk safely to Trafalgar Avenue and Runway Park.

Please, if you can, share the Petition one more time on FB or via message to community members who may be supportive. Council cannot ignore us in large numbers.
