Just a quick update to let you know that we've over 150 signatures on our petition, which is fantastic. 

The next step is to gain support from our elected Councillors to lobby Council staff to plan our pathway. 

I've been in touch with Dr Gordon Reid's office and he has written to the Mayor in support of the matter.  I've also been in touch with Liesl Tesch's office and the initial response was that support will be forthcoming when they're back from holidays.  I'll speak with them soon. 

Can you please consider sharing the petition with 2 or 3 people who may also sign it? If we all do this we can multiply our impact, which I'm sure would help to get Councils' attention! 

It's only 3 weeks until School's back.  Hopefully we can get the ball rolling so the children will be safer.
