On a recent trip to the United States, I noticed there were special parking accommodations for military veterans.  I thought this to be a brilliant idea given the sacrifice all these men and women do to ensure we and others continue to enjoy continued peace, freedom, and democracy.  After all, there are special spots for disabled persons, expecting mothers, Zip cars, and electronic vehicles.  Why haven't we followed suit with our neighbours to the south and mandated even one spot in certain areas for our military?

Please join my petition and show your support by signing it, financially supporting it, and spreading the word that our military deserves front row parking.  It is the least we can do for those who are or have literally given their lives to support our great country.

This action could easily be passed by our own municipal governments at the minimum.
