My Reason: It's been over twenty-five years since the famous mecha anime of Neon Genesis Evangelion existed in the spotlight and was ahead of its time during the 1990's decade. This petition is for us as fans who want to delve deeper into the lore of the original NGE series and The End of Evangelion movie.

Problem: Regarding countless fan theories, there are so many unanswered questions after the 1995 TV series and its associated movie ended, keeping us as viewers in the dark.

• The choice of pilots and the connection with Eva.
• Kaworu Nagisa and the relationship with Shinji.
• The meaning of Asuka's last words from the EOE movie.
• The angels, Lilith, Adam, and their true essence.

These mysteries opened up during the later episodes, where the series noticeably committed plot pacing issues, preventing Shinji's known classmates (Toji, Kensuke, and Hikari) from receiving character development. 

Solution: We kindly ask Hideaki Anno's studio, Khara, Inc., to make Neon Genesis Evangelion's adulthood sequel to the original series (episodes 1-24) and the End of Evangelion movie. The whole point of extending the NGE's original continuity is to get the essence of the 1995 flagship.

• Side-Characters: It would be nice to have Toji, Kensuke, and Hikari  resolve and develop as Eva pilots next to Shinji and Asuka.
• Revelations: In addition to the most fundamental unanswered questions, we want to see more details 1995 series' lore, including Kaji's Assassin, Rei's Cloning, SEELE's Mass Production, and Gendo's last words to Ritsuko, The Dead Sea Manuscripts, etc.
• Proper Send-off: We want to see the NGE story end with the relationship finalized between Shinji and Asuka.

Without the Victory: If the studio doesn't make new NGE content to address these noticeable issues, we will most likely give up on the franchise for lack of its essence.

Benefits: As anime viewers, we will watch the new NGE series to see our favorite surviving characters grow up, get revelation answers, and have a deserving ending for the original continuity.
