I would like there to be more equestrian trails available in Grant County. I think having more trails for people to ride their horses on would help impact the communities and bring people together. We could also have these trails available for hiking as well. We need a safe place to ride and see the towns at the same time. This would bring people into the towns and therefore would promote tourism. People could ride around the towns without having to ride into town and therefore would keep both horse and rider and vehicles safe. It would be a great way to let people meet up and ride in groups and just have fun. Grant County has so many equestrians and not enough equestrian friendly trails. Moses Lake and other communities are getting more and more houses, and more space is dedicated to ATV's. But very little is dedicated to bike riding or the equestrian community, despite the fact that there are many places new trails could go. While this petition is for more equestrian trails, equestrian trails are typically used by other people too who are looking for a different way to travel. If Grant County keeps growing and these things don't get fought for, they are going to be planned right out of the towns we live in. And right now we have a lot of horseback riders who could really, really use places to ride. Please sign this.
