My name is Cassius Martinez, and I'm a therian/furry. Every day at school, I face bullying and discrimination simply because I express who I am. People throw things at me, and I'm constantly called slurs. It’s disheartening and painful to endure such hatred, especially when all I want is to learn and grow in a supportive environment. Like many others in the therian and furry community, I believe we deserve a safe space where we can be ourselves without fear of harassment or discrimination.

Our current education system fails to provide adequate support and acceptance for students like me. Schools should be a safe haven for students of all identities, including therians, furries, and the LGBTQ+ community. Unfortunately, the reality is that these environments often lack understanding and inclusivity. Students who identify as therians or furries, as well as those in the LGBTQ+ community, frequently face bullying, exclusion, and judgment from peers and educators alike.

We propose the establishment of schools that cater to the needs of therians, furries, and LGBTQ+ students. These schools would maintain the standard academic curriculum while fostering an inclusive and supportive atmosphere. They would be governed by school boards that prioritize understanding, acceptance, and respect for all students, regardless of their identity or how they choose to express themselves.

Creating such schools would not only benefit those of us who identify with these communities but also serve as a beacon of acceptance, showing that diversity is celebrated. These are places where students can excel academically without the distraction and pain of discrimination. Education should empower us, not tear us down with hate.
