For years, myself and fellow employees in the Neptune Beach town center have faced the frustrating and unfair burden of high parking fees. This situation has only worsened with the city's recent decision to raise the cost further, making it feel like a slap in the face to those of us who spend our days contributing to the local economy and serving this community. Working in Neptune Beach's vibrant town center is rewarding, but the lack of affordable parking has placed unnecessary strain on our daily lives and finances. Many employees, including myself, are left with little choice but to allocate a significant portion of our hard-earned wages to parking fees.
