The article below was a year after Cheree was viciously murdered in her own home, by a drugged out FELON. It will be 10 years ago on July 24th. Why wasn't there outrage over her death like there was over George Floyd's? Even though Loera was caught and brought to justice, See story here: https://youtu.be/8ON9Ge_ctTs our hearts are broken, the pain will never go away over the senseless death of our beautiful Cheree. An exhaustive post-event review of Cheree’s case determined that Mr. Loera, a U.S. Citizen felon on parole, had been erroneously deported twice to Mexico, because he CLAIMED to be a Mexican National, obviously his fingerprints were NEVER checked. He then was allowed to come back to the U.S. He was in fact, a U.S. citizen who failed to report to his parole officer for over 30 days, and then brutally murdered Cheree. All of the investigation should have been done when Loera was first arrested, because it is well known that inmates often claim to be illegal aliens so they can get out of prison faster, bypassing the parole system. If ICE has information that a person arrested may be a U.S. citizen, that issue needs to be thoroughly investigated, because he had PRIOR arrest records. A simple fingerprint check would have shown who he was, he had a California Drivers License. Virginia Kice, a spokeswoman for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, could not say why Loera, a U.S. Citizen, had mistakenly been deported twice to Mexico.
