By engaging everyone in the mission to find the child swiftly, the likelihood of a safe return is significantly increased.
In the UK, our current systems for missing children, such as Child Rescue Alerts, are not sufficiently comprehensive or well-known compared to the American model. We need a system that can reach more people faster and make the entire nation aware of a child’s disappearance within minutes. A robust Amber Alert system will accomplish this.
The importance of time in child abductions cannot be underestimated. According to research, 76% of abducted children who are killed die within the first three hours. Imagine precious minutes saved when every citizen is immediately alerted and actively looking for the child.
