As an ardent fan of the classic movie "Titanic", I believe it is high time we brought this beloved story to life on stage. The existing Titanic musical, which came out the same year as the film while commendable, does not include Jack and Rose's epic love story that has touched millions around the globe. This is a missed opportunity for many viewers and an automatic turn-off for those who yearn to see their favorite characters in a live setting.

The 1997 film was an international success, grossing over $2 billion worldwide and winning 11 Academy Awards (source: Box Office Mojo). Its iconic theme song "My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion became an anthem for lovers everywhere. These facts alone demonstrate its potential as a blockbuster hit on Broadway.

Broadway needs another showstopper like Les Misérables or Phantom of the Opera - one with a compelling love story and breathtaking set design. A musical adaptation of Titanic could be just that. It would not only bring joy to fans but also contribute significantly to Broadway's economy.

This petition calls upon talented playwrights, composers, producers, and investors to consider creating this much-needed musical adaptation of "Titanic". Let us bring Jack and Rose's timeless love story from screen to stage! Please sign this petition if you share our vision for a Titanic musical based on the unforgettable 1997 film.
