Create a national disabled services member network

The Issue

Growing up, I never imagined I would become severely disabled. However, an unexpected trauma altered the course of my life, leading me to rely heavily on caregivers and social services for daily support. Through this personal journey, I have witnessed first-hand the myriad challenges faced by disabled individuals and their caregivers in accessing even the most basic necessities.

The existing web of support services is fragmented and often inefficient, creating additional strain on both the disabled community and the systems designed to assist them. It has become evident that a unified, robust platform could alleviate many of these persistent issues. Recently, I discovered an old proposal by the Federal Government addressing similar concerns, but it seems the momentum was lost.

Given the pressing need for change, I am proposing the creation of a National Disabled Services Network Platform. This innovative technology, which I have been developing, would streamline access to essential resources for disabled individuals and their caregivers, enabling better coordination of care. The platform aims to:

  • Endorsed support for providers, products, professionals and services to help the disabled community find the right fit for them.
  • Provide a Jobs Board and Marketplace tailored to people with Disabilities and Caregivers.
  • Access Multiple Local Markets from single point input.
  • Link Local Social Services and Supports
  • Disability AI Chatbot to help answer hard question for people looking to get benefits and support.
  • Improved rural and urban support - As proven with the work on Amaze Restoration project - The lessons learned can be transferred to the Disability Services Network.
  • Petitions and Advocacy support like the ADAP Petition by Darryl Learie  that inspired me to create this project.
  • We will be creating AI ML SEO webpages on other petitions that support people with disabilities and there caregivers.
  • Lived experience disability consultants and related professionals.
  • SEO Listings profiles to help get people, business, and Charites get found online, profits go to helping the disabled community.
  • Review our site to see all the work we are trying to do to get this going.
  • Tell your story of how you been affected by being disabled or caring for someone that is disabled
  • This should be important to everyone, because in a blink of an eye you could be on the other end and be disabled yourself.
  •  Membership Access for various aspects of the disability network platform.

- Provide comprehensive access to nationwide disability services and resources.
- Enable caregivers to connect with peers and share valuable advice and support.
- Reduce the administrative burden on social service agencies.
- Integrate seamlessly with existing governmental and non-profit support systems.

By lowering the strain on social services, not only does this platform promise to improve the quality of life for its users, but it also holds the potential to save valuable resources on a national scale.

We can no longer afford to overlook the voices of disabled people and their caregivers. If federal initiatives once hinted at such a transformation, the time to act is undeniably now.

Support this petition to revitalize and implement a National Disabled Services Network Platform and stand with those who strive every day to navigate the complexities of living with a disability. Your signature can spark the change needed for a more inclusive, supportive system.
