Create a memorial to honour the victims of terrorist attacks in France

Jimmy FURET started this petition to Anne Hidalgo (Mayor of Paris)

Paris is injured, Paris cries. The latest attacks were the deadliest that France has ever known since WWII.

In January "nous étions Charlie". The terrorists wanted to silence our freedom of expression, one of the pillars of our culture, but the only thing they succeeded in was uniting all of us as we faced up to the adversity and violence of their barbaric acts .

Unfortunately, they struck us again. This time they attacked not only our freedom of expression, but our freedom to live, to dine with friends, to listen to music or to simply watch a game of football. During that sad night too many innocent people died, all far too young.

Now what's going to happen? After our national mourning are we going to forget what just happened? At the moment, we share beautiful pictures of solidarity and unity on social networks, sharing our grief with the families of the victims but, what will happen in three months, in six months or in 1 year?

France is wounded, but we must not forget these barbaric acts.

This is why I am asking the Mayor of Paris to create a memorial to honour the victims of these tragedies. For the families of the victims and so that the whole of France will never forget what happened on these tragic days.

We will not forget:
