The School Board is currently reviewing changes to the cell phone policy, making this the ideal time for our community to share its perspective.

Without hearing from parents and guardians, Cape Administrators and the School Board cannot fully understand our priorities and concerns.

By signing this petition, you are taking an important step to support the implementation of a bell-to-bell phone policy for students during their formative high school years.

This policy would protect instructional time and interpersonal connection during school hours, while still allowing students to bring phones to school (for urgent matters with the permission of faculty members). Parents would maintain the ability to reach students through the school office, as needed.

Our middle school students have already benefited from a structured phone policy that promotes focus and genuine peer interaction. Supporting this petition helps ensure our high schoolers can continue on this positive path.
