Hello everyone! My name is Beth, and I have put together this petition to demonstrate local interest in a direct bus route between Arundel and the surrounding villages. 

As a local who cannot drive, it is currently quite a journey to get into Arundel, despite it being less than five miles away. Currently, to get from Yapton to the centre of Arundel in a car takes approximately 12 minutes, while public transport takes anywhere from 40-50 minutes, and either two buses or a train and a bus. This leaves locals in the surrounding villages at a disadvantage, and somewhat stranded from events and businesses in Arundel. 

I recently asked our MP, Alison Griffith, if she could enquire with Stagecoach about adding a direct route. She was told they would not consider it, as there is 'very little' demand, yet I have spoken to many people who would appreciate this route being added.

I thought I'd create this petition just to help show that there is interest/demand in this issue, to hopefully help change Stagecoach's mind!
