To the City Council, Parks Department, and Community Leaders:
         We, the undersigned residents, families, riders, business owners, and community supporters, respectfully request that the City identify and allocate a suitable parcel of land for the development of a safe, managed off-road recreation area for dirt bikes, electric motorcycles, mini bikes, and other approved off-road vehicles.
Our community currently lacks a designated location where riders can legally and safely enjoy this growing recreational activity. As a result, many families must travel long distances, ride in unsuitable areas, or have no place at all to participate in a sport that promotes outdoor recreation, personal responsibility, mechanical skills, and family involvement.
A dedicated riding area would provide numerous benefits to our community, including:
• Providing local youth and families with a safe and legal place to ride.
• Reducing unauthorized riding on streets, vacant lots, trails, and private property.
• Encouraging healthy outdoor recreation and physical activity.
• Supporting local businesses through increased visitor traffic and tourism.
• Creating opportunities for organized events, safety training, and community programs.
• Promoting responsible riding practices and rider education.
We are not requesting a major financial investment from the City. Rather, we ask that a suitable parcel of land be identified and that community volunteers, local businesses, sponsors, and riding organizations be given the opportunity to assist with the development, maintenance, and long-term success of the facility.
The strong public support demonstrated through this petition reflects a significant community interest in establishing a safe and legal riding area for current and future generations.
We respectfully request that the City:
 1. Identify potential parcels of land suitable for an off-road recreation area.
 2. Open discussions with community members regarding development and management options.
 3. Conduct a feasibility study to evaluate potential locations and implementation strategies.
 4. Partner with local volunteers, businesses, and riding organizations to explore sustainable development and maintenance opportunities.
