Create a Centralized System to Track All Bank Accounts Linked to Aadhaar & PAN for Citizen

The Issue

Why This Is Important:
Today, Indian citizens have no official way to see how many bank accounts have been opened using their Aadhaar, PAN, or other unique identity documents. This creates a massive risk of:

  • Financial fraud
  • Unauthorized account creation
  • Identity theft

In a country with over 1 billion Aadhaar holders and rising cases of cyber fraud, this is an urgent security flaw.

We Are Demanding:
That the Government of India — in coordination with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), UIDAI, and Ministry of Finance — create a centralized, secure, citizen-facing platform (web or app) where any Indian can:

  • Check how many bank accounts are linked to their Aadhaar or PAN
  • Flag suspicious accounts
  • Request de-linking of unauthorized accounts

This Is a Public Interest Need:
Just like DigiLocker, UPI, and mAadhaar have transformed transparency and access, we need a similar step to protect citizens from silent misuse of their identity. Fraudulent accounts can be used for money laundering, fake transactions, or tax evasion — all in the name of an innocent person.

We urge:
@UIDAI, @RBI, @FinMinIndia, @GoI_MeitY, and @rashtrapatibhvn to treat this as a national-level security concern and act immediately.

Please sign and share this petition widely. Let’s protect digital identity and financial security for every Indian citizen.
