Vivo con il desiderio di vedere una copertura mediatica onesta e continua su quello che sta accadendo in Cisgiordania, una delle aree più complesse e controverse del nostro tempo. Troppo spesso, le notizie che giungono al pubblico globale sono frammentarie e incomplete, lasciando che la narrativa dominante sia influenzata da agende politiche e mancante di sfumature.

È per questo motivo che propongo la creazione di una rete internazionale di giornalisti dedicati, che operino sul campo in modo permanente per documentare quotidianamente la realtà in Cisgiordania. Immaginate un gruppo di professionisti, provenienti da diverse parti del mondo, uniti per portare ai cittadini del mondo una visione chiara e imparziale delle condizioni lì presenti.

Non si tratta semplicemente di raccontare i punti di vista contrastanti, ma di costruire un archivio permanente di informazioni, storie umane e testimonianze dirette che possano servire come una risorsa affidabile. Questo comporterebbe una maggiore comprensione delle tensioni, degli scontri e della vita quotidiana, rafforzando la responsabilità e minimizzando il pericoloso effetto delle fake news.

Un presidio stampa permanente, composto da un pool di giornalisti indipendenti, sarebbe la risposta a questa necessità. Questo team potrebbe operare con obiettività, libero da pressioni esterne, con il supporto di una rete internazionale di media che garantisca una diffusione capillare delle informazioni raccolte.

Vi invito a sostenere questa iniziativa in cui credo fermamente, non solo per il mio ideale di un mondo meglio informato, ma per la dignità di coloro le cui voci meritano di essere ascoltate.

I live with the desire to see honest, continuous media coverage of events in the West Bank—one of the most complex and controversial regions of our time. Too often, the news reaching the global public is fragmented and incomplete, allowing the dominant narrative to be shaped by political agendas while lacking nuance.

That is why I am proposing the creation of an international network of dedicated journalists, working permanently on the ground to document the reality of the West Bank on a daily basis. Imagine a group of professionals from around the world, united to bring citizens everywhere a clear, impartial view of the conditions there.

It is not merely a matter of reporting conflicting viewpoints, but of building a permanent archive of information, human stories, and firsthand accounts that can serve as a reliable resource. This would foster a deeper understanding of the tensions, clashes, and daily life, while strengthening accountability and minimizing the dangerous impact of fake news.

A permanent press presence, staffed by a pool of independent journalists, would meet this need. This team could operate objectively—free from external pressure—supported by an international media network that ensures the widespread dissemination of the information gathered.
