Crack down on ANY and ALL websites promoting prostitution to protect families and children

The Issue

My heart is shattered, and my life has been turned upside down. I recently discovered that my husband, with undeniable proof, has been frequenting websites that promote and profit from the solicitation of prostitution. This revelation has not only devastated our marriage but also put my health at risk. I suffer from constant panic attacks, severe depression, feelings of worthlessness, and the fear that I have contracted a sexually transmitted disease (STD) due to my husband's infidelity.

I am not alone in this struggle. Countless individuals across the country are facing similar situations where their loved ones are lured into the dangerous world of prostitution through these online platforms. It is time for us to take a stand against these websites that enable and profit from such illicit activities.

We must crack down on any and all websites that promote or facilitate the solicitation of prostitution under deceptive categories like "Escorts." Three prominent examples include Skipthegames.com, listcrawler.com, and Backpage.com. These platforms have become hotspots for illegal activities while exploiting vulnerable individuals who may be forced or coerced into this dangerous profession.

The consequences go far beyond broken marriages; our families are at risk, as well as the safety of our children. The exposure to explicit content on these websites normalizes exploitative behavior in young minds and can lead them down a path they should never have to face.

Moreover, public health is compromised by the transmission of STDs and HIV/AIDS associated with prostitution. By allowing these websites to thrive unchecked, we are perpetuating an environment where diseases can spread rapidly within communities.

To effectively combat this issue:

1) We call upon law enforcement agencies at all levels to prioritize investigations into online platforms promoting prostitution.

2) We urge legislators to enact stricter regulations targeting such websites.3) We demand increased collaboration between internet service providers (ISPs) and law enforcement agencies to swiftly identify and shut down these websites.

4) We encourage the development of educational programs that raise awareness about the dangers of online solicitation and provide resources for individuals seeking help.

It is time to protect our families, safeguard our children, and prioritize public health. Together, we can create a society where exploitation is not tolerated, where marriages are strengthened, and where our children grow up in safe and nurturing environments.

Please sign this petition to send a clear message: we will not tolerate websites that profit from the solicitation of prostitution. Let us work together to ensure a brighter future for all.
